Gordon Mills M.D., Ph.D.

Background: Gordon Mills M.D., Ph.D. is Chairman, Department of Molecular Therapeutics & Professor of Medicine and Immunology, The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He is a highly regarded expert in the field of cancer and lipid research. Dr. Mills is on the external advisory board of several cancer research centers including centers at Vanderbilt and Baylor as well as centers in Toronto and Seattle. Dr. Mills is also a consultant for a variety of lipid research companies including Echelon Pharmaceuticals and Cytovia Inc. Dr. Mills provides a broad knowledge of preclinical and clinical drug and antibody development in the lipid research field.

Mario Sznol, M.D.

Background: Mario Sznol, M.D. is Associate Professor of Medicine and Vice-Chief of the Section of Medical Oncology at the Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Sznol's expertise in cancer immunotherapy, drug development for cancer, and treatment of patients with melanoma and renal cell carcinoma is internationally recognized. He is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine and completed his fellowship training in medical oncology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Sznol was a Senior Investigator and subsequently Head of the Biologics Evaluation Section of the Investigational Drug Branch at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Also at the NCI, Dr. Sznol attended on the inpatient/outpatient services of the Biological Response Modifiers Program and the Immunotherapy Service of the Surgery Branch. Prior to joining the Yale University School of Medicine, he was Vice President for Clinical Affairs at Vion Pharmaceuticals.

Andrew Dorr, M.D.

Background: Andrew Dorr, M.D. is a medical oncologist with extensive experience developing clinical programs for biopharmaceutical companies. He has over 20 years of experience in drug development, regulatory compliance and executive oversight for pharmaceutical companies. He served as Chief Operating Officer at Salmedix, Inc., and Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Drug Development at Isis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Previously, he was an Associate Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine and worked in clinical and medical research roles with Eli Lilly and Company. Dr. Dorr also served for seven years as a Senior Investigator with the Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program at the National Cancer Institute's Division of Cancer Treatment. He received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and is a member of American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Association for Cancer Research.
